Pink Eye

My sweet girl has pink eye :( She had a cold already but woke up Sunday around 3 or 4am with a swollen eye that was matted shut. I took her in to the walk in clinic first thing that morning and sure enough, it's pink eye. She got some eye drops and was excused to return to MDO on Tuesday. Have you ever tried to administer eye drops to a busy 2 1/2 year old?!? Pure torture!! We are supposed to give them to her every 3-4 hours for 7-10 days. Well, we barely made it through day 2. Who knows if they are even getting in her eyes when we try. It's definitely hard to hold her down, hold the eye open and squeeze the drops in. It looked much better today and she acted fine all day. She had a bad runny nose but that was it today. Well her other eye was matted this morning but was fine after I cleaned it up. Hopefully she will feel all better tomorrow and be able to go back to school. We shall see. Landon has a cough too. These poor babies! :(
